John E. "Jack" Davis

John E. (Jack) Davis, the son of a prominent lawyer, was raised in Grants Pass. Jack received a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Oregon in 1972 and a law degree from the University of Puget Sound in 1975. Our senior partner has offered wise counsel and representation to individuals and small businesses in Grants Pass since 1975. Jack’s practice includes estate planning, elder law, business organization and transactions, real estate, construction and general civil litigation. He has been a prominent supporter of several local non-profit organizations working to improve our community. Jack is the acting Municipal Judge for the City of Cave Junction and a member of the Grants Pass High School foundation which awards scholarships to deserving students. Jack’s avocational passion is golf.

Richard D. Adams was raised in Kearney, Nebraska. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Kearney State College in 1976 and after moving to Oregon graduated from Willamette University School of Law. He joined the firm in 1980. He is a long time member of Oregon Trial Lawyers Association and American Association for Justice. He represents many individuals injured through the wrongful conduct of others as well as persons injured on the job. Dick also represents small businesses and individuals on business organization, real estate, estate planning, and other civil matters. He has served as chairman and board member of the Grants Pass School District 7 and volunteer director of the Josephine County Legal Aid Program. He has organized and served on the boards of directors of several non-profit organizations in the community including the Josephine County Board of Health and Southern Oregon Fly Fishers. He is particularly proud of the students he has coached on the Grants Pass High School Mock Trial Team. When not battling with insurance companies to get the benefits his clients deserve, he enjoys the pursuit of steelhead and other game fish on a fly rod.

Ben Freudenberg is a native Oregonian who has been an attorney in Grants Pass since 1977. He is a 1974 graduate of Willamette University and graduated from the University of Oregon Law School in 1977. Ben is past president of the Grants Pass Rotary Club and is active in the Newman Methodist Church. He served on the Board of Directors of the Four Way Community Foundation. Ben enjoys planning and structuring future events such as business transactions, real estate developments or trust and estate administration. Ben is a member of the Southern Oregon Estate Planning Council, National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and Oregon State Bar sections on Real Estate and Land Use, Business, Estate Planning and Elder Law. Practice areas include business organization and transactions, real estate development and zoning, estate planning, probate, guardianships, conservatorships, construction contracts and civil litigation relating to these matters.

Gregory T. Day received a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Humboldt State University in 1986 and is a 1995 graduate of the University of Oregon School of Law. After practicing law for three years in Eastern Oregon Greg moved to Grants Pass and joined our firm. He is a member of the Oregon Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association, the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives and past president of the Grant County Bar Association. He is also a member of the American Legion, the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Elks Lodge. Greg is a Lieutenant Colonel in the Oregon Army National Guard, where he serves as Commander of the 1st Battalion, 186th Infantry. He has served our country in both the Sinai and Afghanistan. His practice includes family law, criminal defense, social security disability and general civil litigation. He enjoys outdoor recreation when not engaged in advancing his clients’ interests.

Matthew G. Galli is a native Oregonian having been born and raised in Grants Pass. Matt received his Bachelor’s degree from Oregon State University in 1989 and a Law degree from Willamette University in 1992. After several years as a Deputy District Attorney in Pendleton and solo practitioner in Portland, Matt returned home and joined our firm. Practice areas include family law, elder law, criminal defense, real estate, construction law and civil litigation. When not counseling clients in his office or arguing their cases in court Matt most enjoys outdoor adventures with his three sons and one daughter.
